The Project W2E Medellin has identified the most feasible, and environmentally friendly methods and technology suitable for waste treatment and energy generation, enabling to divert more of the residual waste that still exist away from the landfill and capture renewable energy, and also, ensuring that the residual waste being used has the right renewable content and is matched with a plant that is efficient enough at converting waste to energy.
